Moutaz Al-Khayyat is a Qatari entrepreneur and business leader. Together with his brother, Ramez Al-Khayyat, President and Group CEO of Power International Holding (PIH), he oversees the continued development of the Group’s diversified business portfolio. As Founder and Group Chairman, Moutaz provides strategic direction and oversight across PIH, guiding a global business ecosystem built on rigorous planning, operational precision, and long-term value creation.

His leadership has been central to the growth of several of Qatar’s most prominent enterprises, including UCC Holding, Baladna, and Estithmar Holding. Today, he oversees a portfolio of more than 400 companies spanning energy, mining, concessions and construction, agriculture and food production, real estate, telecommunications, hospitality and lifestyle, professional services, and healthcare. He ensures that each platform is supported by the governance, capital, capabilities, and operational discipline required to scale sustainably and deliver measurable value.

Moutaz holds a BA (Hons) in Global Business from the University of the West of Scotland, with a strong grounding in international markets and global trade. In 2011, Moutaz and his brother, Ramez Al-Khayyat, co-founded Power International Holding with a shared vision to build a diversified enterprise capable of driving long-term economic growth. Together, they established UCC as the cornerstone of the Group, creating the platform from which Power International Holding evolved into one of the region’s most diversified investment groups.
